Tomorrow is Pink Shirt Day!

Thursday, February 27th- We will be celebrating the 100th day of school- Students and staff are encouraged to Dress up as a 100 year old person.

Students can continue to mark the words following their Fundations lesson (blends, digraphs, digraph blends, closed syllables) Spelling words: 1. should 2. number 3. two 4. another 5. word

Spelling words this week are: 1. Check 2. Stump 3. Quit 4. Grip 5. Clump Still following along with the Fundations program and the focus of digraphs, blends and digraph blends. Encourage students to tap out the words on their fingers and then blend the word, as well as underlining digraphs, blends and digraph blends. I forgot to send the list of names home, so they will be in student mailboxes tomorrow morning to take home tomorrow.

We will be having a small Valentine's Day party on Friday, February 14. A class list of names will be sent home Monday should your child like to pass out valentines. Some parents/guardians have asked about sending treats. Sending treats are welcome but not necessary. Friday is another Spirit Day at Glen Stewart! Students can wear red or pink to celebrate Valentine's Day!
